shopping. Korea's shops and department stores are loaded
with hidden treasures and exotic merchandise They will satisfy even the most
experienced shoppers, whether they are looking for cultural artifacts,
clothing, or state-of-the-art electronic merchandises. South Korea
offers a wide variety of shopping opportunities from department stores and duty-free shops to arcades, specialized shopping districts, and outdoor markets.
All major cities have department stores, local markets, and there own
treasures. Local specialties are also cheaper in the regional cities.
Major department stores
are usually open from 10:30 a.m. and close around 7:30 p.m., whereas markets and smaller shops tend to
be open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
