Working in Korea - Shopping

Life | Entertainment | Night Life | SHOPPING | Food

One of the major benefits to living in Korea is the amazing shopping.   Korea's shops and department stores are loaded with hidden treasures and exotic merchandise   They will satisfy even the most experienced shoppers, whether they are looking for cultural artifacts, clothing, or state-of-the-art electronic merchandises.  South Korea offers a wide variety of shopping opportunities from department stores and duty-free shops to arcades, specialized shopping districts, and outdoor markets.   All major cities have department stores, local markets, and there own treasures.  Local specialties are also cheaper in the regional cities.

Major department stores are usually open from 10:30 a.m. and close around 7:30 p.m., whereas markets and smaller shops tend to be open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
